Free, most books have been scanned with great quality, easy to open .pdf files via Acrobat, love the access and the ease of use

An App that can download the entire worldwide library to your device. Books, magazines, old children’s books, non-fiction, in all languages the book was published; the historical treasures this app and Project Gutenburg provide access to are of immeasurable value!

You can search by Title or a favorite Author.

Searching from various sources was easy and understandable, and downloading to my iPhone folder was also simple! Finally, an app that just delivers results straightaway.

I have learned so much just from reading all the stuff I find on the archive.

This in an excellent source of free e-books. The older mysteries and thrillers are well written and are fun to read. You can search Project Gutenberg by author. Try searching for R. Austin Freeman or Sax Rohmer. Enjoy!

Especially for Public Domain books

I love this app. It’s just what I was looking for. My daughter reads a lot and I can’t be purchasing a book every day or two for her. This solved that problem. It is easy to use and works great. T adds the downloaded books to my Apple Books quickly and effortlessly.

You can get lost for hours browsing the books to add to your library.

This is a wonderful app. Finding great books old and rare ones are special. My favorite APP. You get a five star.

Bought a while series of books and now I ha e no way of locating them whatsoever the menu is ridiculous it runs u in circles it’s not clear or easy to navigate and doesn’t tell u how to get to books you have purchased

Ebook service is truly wonderful, but the search function has too wide a focus. “American Drama” shows a lot of Brit, East Indian, and European pieces.

This ebook search tool is the best! It enables you to search through all the major sources for free publications, and specify author, name, keywords, and genre. Inkstone also makes a fantastic app for locating audiobooks and podiobooks.

The only thing I would ask for is more more free books and a better indexing system. Otherwise, I love the app.

Unusual mixing of modern and older books

It is truly a joy and amazing to have so many books to read!

I have access to books that exist in only a few places. All the Classic books written before 1920 are available free. I am interested in history. When studying a certain era, it is best to read books written in that time period. This site is a big help to my ancestors research!

I love to read and reread the classics but I’m on a budget and eBooks allows me to revel in the world of literature. Whether they’re books you read as a child, books you’ve read but don’t remember or books you've never heard of try eBooks.
